yes, indeed! indeed!

music log

31/05/25: nick hakim's happen is my favorite song of all time i think ever and forever

29/05/25: my interests have transformed in such a way that i can assume a release of a record on a religious holiday. hello, my man alex g just released afterlife!! and i also just came home from listening to a two hour podcast dissecting a song i love, which also came out today. thank god???

25/05/25: hello! lankum's newcastle is my big recommendation after seeing them live on friday. also just found out that gay? by 12 rods got a perfect ten score from pitchfork back when it came out. and this is a correct rating. what an ep!

22/05/25: fantano published a review of honningbarna's newest record "soft spot" (can't find it on bandcamp), which i totally missed through my streaming-less period, and now i'm catching up and revisiting this brilliant ass record that is "animorphs". god do i love music

15/05/25: what the fuck! what the fuck. cameron winter's heavy metal made me have to get out of the house and ride around in trance/disbelief. fuuuck. fuck. woah

14/05/25: my roomie played arctic monkeys' snap out of it in the car just now and those lyrics are currently relevant so we are into it. by we i mean me. also i just played some bon iver! his/their i,i album. ok! i was told to sable fable it up soon as well, i'll let you know how that goes. otherwise i'm kind of in the sea of the things previously mentioned. this is what you get for trying to get some darn stillness in the brain!!!

09/05/25: today's adventures hold tightly to two beacons: bunny is a rider and once in a lifetime. and valkyrien from yesterday and all the days before. god bless limits!

08/05/25: i am a sucker for all things valkyrien! such a good new track.

05/05/25: it's all either silence, or store playlist, or previously mentioned foxes. today i have mount eerie's night palace and, of course, lenker's songs. i attribute all of this to the heavy spring wind.

29/04/25: getting back to life after yesterdays's unbelievable intensity through my personal mana source that is listening to mewithoutYou. it's an instant pacifier, amazing how music can do that to someone. i listened lots to catch for us the foxes, it's about willing unity with god and struggling with the impositions church and other archaic structures bring about in achieving of that. or so i think!

28/04/25: today is a u.f.o.f. day. rain is avoiding itself but it has to let itself happen eventually! very emotional, many things all around. also thinking of salt sermon, but i need some courage to get in there. these albums are quite charged in their own ways.

27/04/25: kat's packing the car and trailer to move, so i'm balancing sad feelings with some n.e.r.d and outkast! n.e.r.d's sooner or later is one of my favorite tracks, so cathartic. and then i'm having "don't even bang unless you plan to hit something" line from bombs over baghdad by outkast on repeat in my head.
